Resource: Educational Podcasting

From the Professional & Organizational Development Network in Higher Education (POD) Listserv (2009.05.03)

Mark J. W. Lee of Charles Sturt University, Australia and his colleagues have been researching and publishing in the field of educational podcasting since 2004. Most of their publications are listed here:

http://csusap.csu.edu.au/~malee/publications.html

Among these publications you will find literature reviews / survey pieces of innovative uses of podcasting in higher education; reports on their own uses of podcasting in our teaching practice (including a project in which a group of second year undergraduate students took on the roles of producers of talkback radio-style podcasts to assist first year students undertaking a course that the second years had previously completed); as well as their attempts to contribute to good practice/best practice in the area.
