Using Huddleboards and CopyCams for Group Work

A team of students from Prof. Bill Verplank’s Human Computer Interaction Design Studio (CS 247A) used the Copycam to capture the first stages of their final design project of the quarter.

Students brainstormed ideas, sketched first concepts and created a working plan on the Huddleboards (portable whiteboards).

They then saved the images from the boards to a website so that they could continue working from their dorm rooms or other locations; they did not have to write “save” on the boards, and did not have to hold their second meeting in the same place as the first.

HCI Students use the CopyCam to capture and share their work.
