Sharing Small Group Work with iRoom Software

In Professor Roy Pea’s Online Learning Communities (ED 298) students form small groups and use the classroom set of wirelessly-networked laptops to research and record their work.

As the groups wrap-up, they use the iRoom software to 'push' their summaries from their laptops to the Websters– without any cables or wires -- so that they can present their findings to class.

Two groups push their work to one screen and two groups push their work to another so that as one group wraps up their presentation on the right-hand screen, the other group is ready to go on the left-hand screen wasting hardly any time between presentations.
