Reducing Transition Times with Flexible Furniture

In Professor Larry Leifer's Desingning the Human Experience seminar (ME 013n), activities move quickly from individuals to small groups to a large group.

Class often begins with a brief lecture followed by a longer stretch of team-based project work. Students move chairs, fold tables and reconfigure the room to support collaboration and to use the whiteboards on each wall.

Other students and instructors have configured the furniture to better suit seminars, larger groups and simulations.
